Develop life skills
Edu.Kitchen enhances life skills and provides young people with the skills they need to live life as independently as possible. Each session includes:
– Creating a lunch menu
– Planning shopping lists
– Shopping tasks in the local community
– Cooking lunch as a team
All participants are actively involved in each area of the day regardless of ability. The program is designed to help participants with budgeting, cooking and social skills.
We offer 1:1 and 1:2 ratios. The fees for services provided are accordance with the NDIS Price Guide and will be billed as agreed upon between the parties.
The program will cover the following areas:
Food preparation, barista skills, cooking, baking, food safety & hygiene.
Money skills, budgeting, personal hygiene, cleaning & maintenance.
Social skills, customer service, living skills, washing clothes & drying clothes.

Preparing and cooking a family size lunch (part 1).
All participants know the quantities needed to feed 6 people.

All participants can assist with preparing pasta and are able to cook a pasta dish.

Budgeting for the Christmas party. Cooking a simple lunch.

Hosting a Christmas Party
All participants can cook Christmas party food and host a party for friends and family.
