Volunteer with us

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? Do you believe in the power of education to transform lives? If so, you’ve come to the right place. Edu Change is on a mission to shape the future of young adults with disabilities aged 18-25 by providing them with the essential post-school skills they need to thrive in today’s world.

Edu Change runs a program called Edu Kitchen every Friday. We are looking for volunteers to give up their time to support our young people. You can choose to commit to specific times and dates or we can work around your schedule. All volunteers do need to have a Working With Children Check as we are based on a school site. You can easily obtain this check via the service NSW website

    What will you be doing?

Providing guidance and support to young adults as they navigate their personal goals.

Helping our participants go food shopping in the community.

Supporting our young adults with cooking skills such as blending ingredients, cutting soft objects, making sandwiches

Your mentorship can make a lasting impact on their personal and professional growth!

As the transition from school to the real world can be challenging, many young adults find themselves navigating new responsibilities without the necessary skills and guidance. At Edu Change, we recognize this gap and are dedicated to bridging it. By joining forces with volunteers like you, we’re creating a supportive network that equips these young adults with practical skills, empowering them to excel in both their personal and professional lives.
